Quick story then off to work...
Working the left tape line West of Florida on Sunday. 9 players make it all the way down after much stress on those rocks. We hit the road to find three of our Japanese friends pinned by a larger force of blue players just around the bend in the road. The general consensus is we have the numbers to advance. However we find the tables are turned by the terrain when the ref tells us there is no way out other than down that road or back up the way we came (ugh).
Slowly blue is picking us off one at a time as our numbers drop from 12 to 8 I realize we are sitting in a blue shooting gallery. Cliff on one side, tape line on the other. I order the troops to climb back up 1/4 of the way so they can sweep around and come back down past the curve to gain elevation and position. Few make it out... It was a slaughter (sorry team).
I found a little hole on the left side that is just off the road but still in bounds. One young player takes a prone position in the back left corner of the road just over my right shoulder and begins firing... Eventually he is taken out. I am alone.... all I have left is the moral support of a previously shot player who is observing and the hope the enemy does not know I am here. Let alone that I am the General and they would have to take me out with a head shot or find their sniper.......
Waiting, the tension is mounting... I hear voices talking about the situation. One blue player creeps around the corner into the road... I rip off two quick rounds into his body... More voices, anxious and louder now.
"They got a guy there just waiting to tear you up when you go around that #$%ing corner. You're gonna have to charge him to take him out."
(Sweetest words I could have heard)...
Very loud now I hear,
"Three! Two! ONE!" (EGO don't fail me now.....)
Time slows, heart pounds, trigger fingers dance as no less than seven players round the corner shooting, searching for me in vein. First one, now three. Five. SIX! (pop pop) I feel two rounds burst on my chest as the last man locates my position. I adjust fire and take him out as I lean over to show him the second arm-band... Poor bastard... If he only knew
WOW what a rush. _________________ PROUD Member of the ERSA!

That was by far the most badass thing i have ever witnessed....i was the one watching you from behind the tape line. I knew they were gonna rush right around that corner straight into the line of paint coming from ur ego...Deff the best usage of the headshot only rule _________________ Most Valuable Team(Germans)- Skirmish's Battle for Berlin '07
