If I have any left, then they are yours. I will PM you this weekend.

The diameter of th tank is 2"

The diameter of the Havoc is 2.25” just like the JCS MKX. I could not find a link to verify it though.

I have two subdued ERSA patches left so they are yours now.

Merc...

If it were me, I'd ditch the bottom line and run the tank parallel to the barrel on the right side. You're going to need some assorted fittings to do it that way, 90*, straight ASA, etc. But I think that'd be the cleanest look. Simlar to what they did here:

You might need a few couplers just to space it out correctly.

Dave,

Looking at this again, I saw something on line that might work. Thanks for posting.

Merc, Sorry it took so long i've just been swamped at work lately, but i did get the mounts made finally! I don't think the pouch idea from the picture above would work too good. seems like everything would be flopping around alot when you run. Anyways i can mail them to you or i could just bring them with me to west point. whatever you'd like. here's some pics i took while making them.

They look perfect. Just a quick anodizing away from really nice piece.

I don't think i'm gunna be patenting them any time soon, but after people see these ones maybe i can get some buisiness making more of them, or other custom parts here and there. If anyone has any projects in the works i would definitely be willing to quote you a price.
A nice coat of black anodize would look mint, but our shop really doesn't do much aluminum work so i cant send it out. If we had other parts going out i would have sent it along, but we don't right now unfortunately.
Anyways merc i got your pm, i'll be mailing them out tonight or tomorrow. probably tomorrow it's almost 5 now, but you should have them by the end of the week. I'll send the invoice along with them. 3 hours of labor at our normal $80 an hour shop rate plus $40 in material costs (6061 aluminum) and an extra $5 for (4) 1/4 - 20 x 1" hardened steel black oxide socket head cap screws. plus sales tax, packaging and shipping you're looking at a little over $300. Theres a manditory shipping insurance fee of $20 and if you want them overnight it will be an extra $20.
Theres also the option for a 1, 3 or 5 year extended warranty and service plan for an additional fee.
Tell ya what, i'll be a nice guy and throw the screws in for free.
Oh, but i almost forgot about the engineering costs....
or just give me the 2 patches which i'm gunna give to another team mate anyways since i already have one.

Here it is. I like the way it came out. Now all I need is an ASA and either try to use the hose it comes with or 1/8 pipes with elbows. Maybe some paint?

Thanks again Seig

Looks good! I was a little worried about the diameters matching since i didn't actually have the tank and launcher in my hand to measure but it looks like they fit good. Some flat black spray paint will add a nice finishing touch.

Yes, it has worked out very nicely. Here are more front-end shots incase you want to make minor adjustments in the design.

My next step is to add a macroline fitting to the ASA fill adapter and a new hose. That was I can switch from the macroline fitting on the small tank on the front to the ASA on the bottom by simply switching hoses.

On a side note: I remember reading about if you added 4" barrel extension to the Havoc, the nerf would go further. I also saw a YouTub where a guy commented that never uses the breach in his JCS to load in the nerf. He simply puts it in backwards and still gets a good distance.

So, I took my Havoc (I do not have a crono) and fired it at a target 70 feet away. If I put in the nerf tail first, it hit about 4-6 inches below where I aimed. If I put in nose first, then it almost hit the spot I was aiming for. I did this a few times and the tests held up. If you look at picture, you see that putting it in nose first gives you an extra 3.5 - 4.0 inches, which clearly helps. Just wanted to share it with you guys.

Please note that I did not use any of the government stimulus money in my test. Hmmm... maybe I should have?
